Product: Petrarch rainscreen panels

Two years since construction work on the £60 million project started, the new South Cheshire College Campus has opened its doors. Rebuilt on its Dane Bank site the new college will lead education in the area and provide a first class education facility at the heart of the community.

The campus combines two contrasting colours of Petrarch panels in two finishes creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere and a strong visual impact. The design for the 26,500sqm building is based on the concept of a village street and features approximately 2,500m² of Petrarch cladding.

Colour matched to the architect’s requirements, the Petrarch panels were installed onto the TEN66 aluminium framing system using a combination of structural adhesive and mechanical fixings.

As the modern alternative to stone, cement and slate, Petrarch panels give you the impact you need to make your designs stand out from the crowd. They bring individuality and style to a building whilst being extremely durable, maintenance free and highly resistant to impact.

Manufactured in the UK, Petrarch’s combination of strength and lightweight in both 7mm and 10mm formats make it the ideal choice for unique facades, curtain walling and rainscreen facade applications.
